Behind Enemy Lines: Three Questions with The Bent Musket

We talked with Corey Major from the New England Revolution SB Nation blog about the Revs team that Sporting KC is facing on Saturday.
1) How have you been enjoying former SKC man Teal Bunbury so far? How much of a threat is he up top for the Revs?

Teal seems to be a great fit off the field, but on it is a totally different story. He hasn't exactly clicked with the Revs midfield just yet and has had his struggles in the lone-striker role that coach Heaps has been playing him in. As such, he hasn't been much of a threat at all for opposing defenses. However, in the few instances that he's moved out wide to make way for Charlie Davies or Jerry Bengtson, he's looked much more involved and dangerous. Wherever he ends up deployed on Saturday, I'm hoping that playing against his old team will get him fired up and perhaps even produce a goal. I'm not exactly holding my breath though.

2) With Goncalves and Rowe likely out for Saturday's match, how will the Revs adjust to Sporting KC's style of offense?

The Revs have pretty much always struggled with the physical and aggressive style of Sporting KC's attack. I don't expect this weekend to be any different, particularly without Goncalves. I expect Andrew Farrell to partner with A.J. Soares again in central defense and hopefully that will be enough to stop Dom Dwyer. But it's his supporting cast of Zusi, Feilhaber, and Zizzo that I'm more worried about. I'm hoping that our fullbacks as well as Andy Dorman will be able to keep up and stop their service and general playmaking.
Furthermore, I actually think I'm more worried about facing SKC's defense than their offense. The Revs are struggling mightily in their attack so far this season, and KC's backline will probably be their toughest challenge yet. Especially without Kelyn Rowe (and Fagundez is looking iffy at the moment as well), the Revs will be counting on Nguyen, Kobayashi, or Sene to break through.

3) New England has played 7 matches in 2014 but only two at home. The Revs are also undefeated in those two games at home. Do you think that the next stretch of home games starting with Sporting KC will help the Revs grab some points?

A decent home record is about the only thing we have going for us right now. Then again, they've picked up just as many points (4) on the road. Regardless, being home every-other game for next month will be welcomed with open arms after New England started 5 of 7 on the road. If they can take all three points from Kansas City this Saturday, I see no reason why that wouldn't propel them up the standings. But, like I said, it will be one hell of a mountain to climb.

Jose Mourinho also blamed Mike Dean & Mike Riley in post Sunderland interview on Chelsea TV

And, it was the same in the press conference after his first Stamford Bridge defeat in 78 games. So, when Mourinho spoke to Chelsea TV, he stuck to his four points. [...]
